I have worked directly with websites since 2005. In 2006, I started Detailed Web Design and took on my first extensive customer. Each time I finished a website, I would land a new client from it.
Each project led to the next and I found that I never had to advertise because, thankfully, requests for work continued to arrive one after the next. I received my Associates of Business Degree in 2007. I followed it with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology in 2009.
I worked for a large e-commerce company that was valued in the millions. This company handled dozens of websites that
represented hundreds of products and millions of dollars worth of inventory. I learned the importance of SEO, Google Analytics, website structure, e-commerce,
internet marketing, and the beginning of social media as we now know it. All of these areas are crucial to the success of a website.
After nearly a decade in corporate America, my workload from clients was consistent enough that I left my day job and started web designing and programming full-time.
My web design portfolio has continued to grow along the way. In the last few years, I have created a large number of web creations from scratch including personal websites,
small business websites, e-commerce websites, websites for actors, writers, and singers. I have created websites for city government and for global not-for-profit
organizations. Each website brings a challenge and broadens my web portfolio. I welcome a challenge and look forward to each new project.
When I'm not in the office, I am spending time with my friends, trying new kinds of sushi, volunteering in the community, or working on a new project in my house. I love the festivals in downtown Fort Wayne every summer and how our city comes alive with the warm weather. You can find me at a TinCaps games, the downtown library, jogging around the city, or hanging out at the downtown starbucks.
