Facebook is the undeniable
force on the internet. The only thing bigger than Facebook
is Google and the only thing bigger than Google is
Facebook. I think that people are starting to catch on to the fact that Facebook is not just an email system, it is not just a fad like MySpace, nor is it some random website that you might come across while surfing the web. Instead, Facebook is now the glue of the internet. Google will help you find what you are looking for and once you find it, Facebook will help us hold it all together. If you need to
message someone an idea, use Facebook. If you need to set up an advertising campaign for your business, use Facebook. If you like an article on CNN and want your social circle to know, use Facebook. Facebook has become the all-knowing, all-thinking force of the
internet. Get to know it, use it, feel it, breathe it. It takes the best of every world on the internet and it combines it into one beautiful user-friendly web
space for your personal use.
More and more clients are building their websites with Facebook and utilizing it in new ways that help
stretch their audience potential
without hurting their pocketbooks.
A local Fort Wayne client, House of Furniture, went into business in
the last year. They are still
building their client base and minimizing their costs. With
this in mind, they had me build them an incredibly basic
website. This website is used as the jump off point
to their Facebook page where they update their
inventory weekly and keep an open dialogue running with
clients regarding their current stock of furniture, pricing, and wish lists.
